Course Aims

For potential and existing operators, who have received no formal instruction, and those requiring refresher training.

On completion of the one day course, the operators will know:

  • Their statutory duties under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
  • The importance of sling angle in relation to safe working load
  • The importance of weight and centre of gravity in relation to the safe working load of the lifting tackle
  • Signalling codes for slingers

NOTE: Customer to provide: Lifting Equipment & Lifting Tackle.
