Anyone in an organisation who has responsibility for overseeing the work of operatives on site, ensuring that work is properly planned and organised and that those involved in carrying out the work are competent and properly trained, and that towers are correctly inspected and maintained.
To enable an individual to effectively comply with their duties under the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
One Day – typically 6 hours.
The PASMA Towers for Managers Course content includes:
- The Competent Person
- Health & Safety Legislation
- Work at Height Regulations
- Guidance on Working at Height with Mobile Access Towers
- Tower Categories
- Risk Assessment and Emergency Rescue Plans and Provisions
- Inspection, Tagging and Reporting
- Written Assessment
This course is a theory based classroom taught course with no practical assessment.
Upon successfully passing the written assessments each delegate’s details will be entered on to the PASMA central database and a Certificate of Competency and a Photo-ID Card will be issued that is valid for 5 years.
